Today, I’m writing on behalf of an awesome nonprofit I’ve recently started working with, YouthVoice TV, whose primary focus is fighting bullying and teen suicide, which, as I’m sure you know, has become a national crisis.

YouthVoice is a national teen broadcast organization. They train teens to counsel and educate their peers ( as show hosts) on bullying, suicide, drugs, cutting, parental conflict and every other topic teens need to discuss openly and honestly.

At the end of this school year, YouthVoice, The Gay-Straight Alliance Network and our other partner organizations will host The Monster March Against Bullying in San Francisco, CA. We plan to make it the largest teen protest in history.

As you may know, Lady Gaga embraced the family of 14-year-old Jamey Rodemeyer, who committed suicide last month after being bullied. Lady Gaga produced a tribute song for Jamey, which she plays it at her concerts. Jamey’s sister, mother and father are partners in planning the march.

Currently, we are gathering 1,000 teen signatures in a petition-like invitation to ask the fabulous Lady Gaga, a major champion of this cause, to join us as a headline performer in the march.

In just a few days, hundreds have signed on.

Here’s where you come in: please, please sign this petition and pass along the link to your social networks (or even post it on your blog!) to help support this amazing cause. You can also become a fan of YouthVoice on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.
